Candy Bar Cookies
I had a rough day at school today, so I decided to make some candy bar cookies. These are large cookies that you might find in a coffee shop. They are simply chocolate chunk and pecan cookies that have pieces of candy bar on top. The recipe is not complicated, but because they are large, they take some time to bake. I used a snickers bar and a milky way bar. My son does not like pecans, so I made 2 of the 12 cookies without nuts before stirring the pecans in. Once I added more chocolate chunks on top, and the candy bar pieces, I couldn’t tell which was which, so I added a pecan half to each of the cookies containing nuts. I chose to have mine without milk or coffee, so that I would only eat one. 😊
